“ Petite she might be, but her gregarious personality doesn't leave scope for anyone to miss her out. A busy bee with the most purposeful stance is our very own Aditi Paul. She was brought up in the city of Asansol, located in the state of West Bengal and did her schooling from Loreto Convent.”

It was after working for 14 years at Exide, that Aditi joined mjunction in 2007. The opportunity to work with mjunction couldn't have been better timed. Though she enjoyed her job at Exide, what Aditi craved at that point in time was a change which would bring with it greater challenges. mjunction being a young organization she was confident of finding what she had been looking for.
Aditi took up the job at the MD's secretariat. It has been four years since and in this span of time she has seen the company grow from strength to strength. It was during her initial days in the company that mjunction got its name, till then it was known as metaljunction. With the company diversifying into various other sectors apart from steel and metal, it made perfect sense to change the name to what its currently known as.
Soon after joining mjunction, Aditi managed to strike excellent rapport with Arpita Garg, Kaushik Sarkar and Ravinder. While Arpita and Kaushik were part of the MD's office team, Aditi had to constantly interact with Ravinder in order to ensure things ran smoothly. Arpita is no longer with mjunction and Kaushik's job profile has changed too. But Ravinder and she are still going strong as part of the MD's office team.
On the work front Aditi feels her job profile suits her just fine since it allows her to learn new things each day. Apart from the energetic and young team that she works with, Aditi is all praises for the MD Mr Viresh Oberoi, who constantly interacts with junctionites and is exceptionally encouraging when he sees that genuine effort has been put in by an individual. Though results are important, it gives her a sense of fulfillment to work with someone who gives equal consideration to the means.
Aditi is blessed with a 12-year-old son, Aditya, around whom her life revolves. Between her office hours and his studies they manage to steal some quality time with each other and spend it reading story books, map reading, watching movies and experimenting in the kitchen with new dishes.
A woman of grit, for whom challenges have been the greatest driving force in life, Aditi is a travel buff. She loves to read books on travel and take-off on trips which help in keeping her mind, body and soul fresh. "Though I have always loved the idea of trekking, I initiated it quite late in life but its better late than never", confesses the free spirited mother whose son shares her new-found passion with her. Together they have travelled to places such as Kedarnath, Tunganath, Deoriatal, Sandakphu and Pindari. They both had an enjoyable time away from the maddening crowd and in the midst of wonderful people from the hills. She quickly adds that her travel plans for next year have already been made.
A simple person by nature Aditi believes in hard work, simplicity and honesty.

Since childhood his interest in the outdoors and especially the mountains was evident. As a child there was a great deal of curiosity in Samrat's mind when it came to the mountains. And this childhood fascination only grew stronger with age. As a teenager he was associated with the All India Radio as scriptwriter and reader. Theatre too was something which was close to Samrat's heart at a young age.
Samrat is passionate about trekking and adventure tourism. He started his trekking career with Dzongri - Goechela, one of the toughest trek routes for beginners. Since 2003 he has successfully completed 14 trekking expeditions. Within a very short span of time he graduated from an amateur trekker to an instructor of the adventure and rock climbing course.
His professional career started with the hospitality industry at the Sterling Holiday Resort. Post his stint at the resort, Samrat worked with two other organizations in the same space. Samrat has been a part of the mjunction family since February 2006 and has been working in the field of administration. He took to the job as fish does to water and has been extremely efficient at solving issues for fellow junctionites in the shortest span of time.
During his early days at mjunction he was in-charge of the travel desk. According to Samrat it was an experience which allowed him to not only connect people but also connect with them from all across the country.
Always ready with a smile, Samrat takes each and every challenge at work place with a positive mind and goes out of his way to solve issues. In fact he has drawn perfect analogy between managing office administration with his trekking experience at the Himalayas. Both these activities involve fresh challenges and what excites him is finding innovative solutions for the same.
Apart from trekking and rock climbing, adventure sports as a whole keep the adrenaline pumping in Samrat's system. Which is why white water rafting, mountain biking and coastal trekking also feature on Samrat's list of favourites. It is this passion which has made him explore some of the most remote areas of Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh. He maintains an excellent balance between work, trekking and family. He considers himself extremely lucky to have found a life partner in Bratati who is also passionate about the mountains and accompanies him to most of his trekking expeditions.
Samrat has taken an oath to save the Himalayas and is seriously working towards making the ranges plastic free. One thing that irritates Samrat the most is the way the so called eco tourists are spoiling the natural beauty of the mountains all across the world.
He is grateful to each of his senior colleagues and team members at mjunction who have helped him ride up the career ladder. Samrat played an extremely pivotal role in making the new mjunction office at Godrej Waterside function smoothly and it is his and his team's effort which ensures that a conducive work environment is maintained at all times.
