Anthracite coal imports via Paradip show huge growth in Oct

November 23: The anthracite coal imports through the port of Paradip in October were at 61,602 tons against 3,700 tons recorded in September, according to revised provisional data for both the months available with ICMW, showing a huge growth consequently.

In October, 54,902 tons arrived from South Africa in a price band of Rs 7,190-7,194 ($116) per ton, and 6,600 came in from Vietnam at a unit price of Rs 18,268 ($286) per ton while 100 tons arrived from other sources at a unit price of Rs 11,083 ($174).
