Coal handling at Dahej port falls 13.99% in Sept m-o-m

October 31: Handling of coal at Dahej port stood at 748,814 tons during the month of September 2013, down 13.99% as compared to 870,576 tons handled during August 2013, a senior port official told ICMW on October 31.

During September 2012, total coal handling at the port stood at 317,726 tons.

During the first six months (April-September) of the current financial year of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 4,780,906 tons whereas the figure was at 2,912,052 tons during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
