Coking coal imports via Chennai down 13.93% in Oct m-o-m

November 26: Coking coal imports via Chennai port drop 13.93% to 105 tons in October 2013 against 122 tons reported in September 2013, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In October 2013, the entire quantity arrived from the United Kingdom at a price band of Rs 29,392-Rs 30,055 ($473-$483) per ton.

In September too, the consignment had arrived from the UK in a price range of Rs 30,011-Rs 31,265 ($461-$484) per ton.
