February 24: Fair demand was witnessed in January for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries as out of the entire offered quantity of 864,000 tons of coal, 825,310 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,583 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed for this grade in December as the entire offered quantity of 925,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,612 per ton.
During November, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
