October 10: Excellent demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal (GCV range 5,501-5,800 Kcal/kg) offered by CIL’s subsidiaries on coaljunction’s e-auction platform in September 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 15,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,047/ton.
In fact, there was excellent demand for G6 grade coal on coaljunction in August 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 46,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,246/ton.
Similarly, there was high demand for the same grade in July 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 81,290 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,143/ton.
