February 24: More or less good demand was witnessed in January 2015 for G13 grade (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries as out of the entire offered quantity of 835,750 tons of coal, 740,880 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,573 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed in December for G13 grade as the entire offered quantity of 480,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,439 per ton.
On the other hand, during November, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
