October 9: There was high demand for G5 grade coal (GCV range 5,800 to 6,100 Kcal/kg) on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in September 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 83,450 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,425/ton.
In fact, high demand was also witnessed for G5 grade in August 2014 as out of 72,950 tons offered, 72,935 tons or 99.98% got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,521/ton
In fact, there was excellent demand for G5 grade on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in July 2014 as out of 256,415 tons offered, 256,345 tons or 99.97% got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,012/ton.
