October 10: G7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with high demand on the coaljunction platform in September 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 4,915 tons of coal got allotted during the month. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,808/ton.
However, G7 grade coal met with moderate demand on coaljunction in August 2014 as 54,530 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 63,760 tons. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,083/ton.
On the other hand, the same grade coal met with excellent demand in July 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 12,770 got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,778/ton.
