February 24: Strong demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries during January 2015 as the entire offered quantity of 49,100 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,210 per ton.
In fact, a similar strong demand was also witnessed for the mixed grade coal offered during December 2014 as out of 73,880 tons offered, 73,520 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,072 per ton.
However, poor demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal during November 2014 as out of 34,420 tons offered, only 250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,979 per ton.
