February 5: G10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during January 2015 saw a moderate demand as out of the entire offered quantity of 183,410 tons of coal, 152,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,184 per ton.
However, G10 grade offered on this platform during December saw strong demand as out of the entire offered quantity of 225,000 tons, 220,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,541 per ton.
G10 grade coal offered during November also saw strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 278,410 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,503 per ton.
