January 9: Imports of metallurgical coke via Krishnapatnam Port fell 36.41% to 22,000 tons in December 2014 against a volume 36,600 tons in November 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In December, 11,500 tons arrived from Australia at a price range of Rs 8,536-Rs, 8,630 ($132-$134) a ton and 10,500 tons arrived from China at a price range of Rs 12,290-12,555 ($ 188-$197).
In November, the entire material came in from China at Rs 12,172 ($ 194-$197) per ton, among others.
