October PCI imports via Vizag Port at 32,216 tons

November 11: A volume of 32,216 tons of PCI coal was imported through Vizag Port in October 2014 while there were no imports of the material through the port in September, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In October 2013, PCI coal imports through Vizag Port stood at 2,258 tons.

On a cumulative basis, imports of the material for the first seven months of the current fiscal stood at 300,955 tons while the same for the previous fiscal were at 316,986 tons.

In October, a single consignment arrived from Australia at a unit price of Rs 7,082 ($114).
