Q. How do I know the date and start time of e-auction being held on your website?
A.Detailed e-auction schedules are published and regularly updated on our website (www.coaljunction.in). Apart from that the Notices , Corrigendums, Modifications regarding existing Clauses, Lots, Schemes  etc  are also display in our Details section under www.coaljunction.in whenever we receive any such changes from our esteemed Clients.  Also you would be getting regular SMS Alerts on your mobile number that is registered with us if any such incident happens.

Q. Where can I find the applicable taxes and duties for purchase of coal from different coal companies?
A. Taxes and Duties are mentioned in detail under "Downloads Area" under Login Page in our website (www.coaljunction.in).


EMD Deposit & Balance

Q. Where and how should I deposit my EMD?
EMD can be deposited in three modes , viz :-- 1) HDFC BANK CMS ,  2) RTGS & 3) Online (Using Net Banking)

1)  Through Demand Draft (DD) / Pay Order (PO) Mode using HDFC BANK Cash Management System (CMS) option :--

A :--  EMD can be deposited directly at any HDFC Bank CMS Branch in the country. A list of available HDFC Bank CMS Branches is given in our website (www.coaljunction.in). While depositing EMD at HDFC Bank you need to fill in a "Pay-in-slip".  For detailed procedure of EMD Deposit please refer to the Click on “ Login “ option > Scroll down to “ Important links “ > Select  EMD Management > Click on “ EMD Deposit “ in our website for branch details .

The last date of submission of EMD for an e-auction event is mentioned in the schedule of that particular event, on our website (www.coaljunction.in).

2)  Through RTGS Mode :--

A :-  For RTGS / NEFT  process of EMD transfer you need to log in > Click on EMD Mgmt > Select “ CMS / RTGS “ option  > Click on submit after reading all the Terms & Conditions > Put in the EMD amount & click on “ Submit “ > then take out a print out & approach your  bank for the needful RTGS / NEFT

Please use INDUS IND RTGS Mode only for EMD deposition through RTGS and please do the EMD deposition 24 working hours before the start of the e-auction.

3)   Through Online Mode :--

A:  We are happy to announce that we will be accepting EMD through Net Banking Account of PNB Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, IndusInd Aggregator & ICICI Bank.

Here's a simple step-by-step guide about using this facility:

a. Login to coaljunction website using your user id and password.

b. Click on EMD Management and choose Payment > Online option

c. From the options choose Payment Mode as Online, then put in the EMD amount to be deposited & select the bank from the options available, read the guidelines  before pressing the “ Submit “ button.

d. You would be redirected to PNB Bank / HDFC Bank / SBI / IndusInd Aggregator / ICICI Bank Net Banking Site where in you need to enter your PNB Bank / HDFC Bank / SBI / IndusInd Aggregator / ICICI Bank Net Banking User ID and Password and transfer the EMD Amount you wish to deposit.

e. On successful transfer a Transaction ID would be generated. Please note down the number for future reference.

f. After the EMD Transfer please login to your coaljunction account and check your e-ledger balance. If the transaction is complete then the transferred amount would be reflected in your e-ledger.

Bank charge as per applicable per transaction shall be payable by you for using this facility, this would be deducted by the bank directly from your bank account. Mjunction Services Limited shall not be held liable/responsible for any wrong transfer of funds, misuse of your user id or password, any link failure / fault at the end or part of PNB Bank / HDFC Bank / SBI / IndusInd Aggregator / ICICI Bank.


Q. How do I check my EMD Balance with mjunction?
A. Please log in to coaljunction auction site with your User Login and Password. EMD Balance can be checked under the menu EMD Management > e Ledger

Q. How do I bid?
A.  Registered bidder needs to LOGIN to www.coaljunction.in with his user id and password.

B.  If this is a Coal India Limited (CIL) auction log in with your Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), and if it is a NON – CIL auction , then log in without DSC.

C.  The bidder clicks on the “ Home “ option, then the DSC is validated  & a “ Ready “ followed by the “ Continue “ button will be prompted, the user needs to click on the “ Continue “ button and select the certificate in another window. Once the DSC is selected then the user needs to enter the DSC token password to confirm.

D. The registered bidder at first go to the “ Home “ option in the “ Main Menu “ > Clicks on the sub-menu “ Terms & Conditions Spot e-auctions(CIL) or “Terms & Conditions Spot e-auctions(Others )– For Non – CIL Auction) and accept the Terms and Conditions by typing in the DSC token password (only for CIL e-auctions) . Then go to the Sub-menu “ Add Item to Watchlist “ to add the lots of his/ her preference.  The user can thereafter select the lots by clicking on the Check Boxes given beside each lot & then press the “Add Item to Watchlist” button to confirm.

E. Then the user needs to click on the “ Bidding “ option the “ Main Menu “  and enter the  “ Transaction Password “ to confirm. The user would be prompted to click on bidding option, to enter the bidding page, only if he has successfully entered the correct transaction password.

F. After that Bidders are required to put their desired “Quantity and Price “ and click on “Bid “ for registering their Bid. Clicking on “ EMD Allocation Box” will display the current EMD Allocation and the left amount of EMD Balance.  “Time Left “ for Scheduled Auction Closure of a particular lot is displayed against the respective lot.

 

Sale Intimation
Q. Where and how do I get Lot Confirmation Mail?
A. After an e-auction event you can download the Lot Confirmation Mail online by logging in to (www.coaljunction.in), using your User Login and Login Password and accessing menu Lot Confirmation > Current Auction.
We also send all the winners, the Lot Confirmation, over email to their registered e-mail id within 06 working hours from the conclusion of an e-auction event.

Q. Where and how do I make payment towards Coal Value?
A. You are required to take the print out of the Mjunction Sale Intimation letter along with a duly attested photo copy of your Coaljunction Bidder ID card and approach the respective Coal subsidiary/client.

EMD Refunds FAQs
Q. How will I get my refund of my EMD from mjunction?
A. Requests for refund must be made online by logging into coaljunction auction site with your User Login and Login Password. Refund Requests can be put in through EMD Management > Refund > Add.
Please note that after approval of your online request for refund, it takes the following timelines to process your refund:

  1. Below Rs 2 lacs - 3 working days
  2. Rs 2 lacs and more - 24 bank working hours

 

Registration FAQs
Q. How do I register with coaljunction? What are the documents required for registering in Coaljunction ?
A. Please open "www.coaljunction.in" & click on "register" for online registration.

B. Once the online registration is done, the buyer has to download "New Registration Checklist & Statement of Interest." On the successful submission of details & completion of online registration buyer will receive an e-mail.

C. Buyer has to fill up “statement of interest “ with relevant details & gather the relevant documents as per the category his company falls under. Company category wise documents are mentioned in the first page of “Statement of Interest “.

D. Documents along with Statement of Interest have to be sent to the following address to complete the registration process.

E. On the completion of registration the buyer will receive an intimation over e-mail for the successful completion of registration along with Bidder ID number, user ID, login password and transaction password.


Q. What is the fee for New Registration in Coaljunction?
A. The Coaljunction Registration Fee (Non Refundable, Non Interest Bearing):- w.e.f. April 20, 2012 - Bidder ID to be active till Sept’ 30th, 2014 is Rs. 2,248/-.
Registration fees will be received only in the form of Pay Order/DD in favor of 'mjunction services limited A/c Coal ', payable at Kolkata.
w.e.f. 15th Nov'11 Coal India Limited One Time Fee policy has been made effective.
However, w.e.f. 1st July'12 for new registration cases this stands exempted.

Q. How do I know if my account with coaljunction is activated?
A. On activation of your registration, an e-mail is sent to your registered e-mail id detailing your Bidder ID number, user ID.login and transaction password.

Q. I have not received my Bidder ID Card. What should I do?
A. Please note that the Bidder Id card is prepared & dispatched within 7 working days from the date of approval/renewal/validity extension for Spot e-auction & within 4 working days from the date of activation of Forward e-auction registration. Please send us an email at (coaljunction@mjunction.in) or get in touch with our Help Desk in case of Non-Receipt of Bidder ID Card. Help Desk Numbers are available on our website under "Contact Us " option.

In addition to the above you can log in using your user id and password and check your " ID Card Status " under " My Profile " option.

Q. Can I pay my renewal fees through HDFC branches?
A. No. Renewal fees will be received only in the form of Pay Order/DD in favor of 'mjunction services limited A/c Coal ', payable at Kolkata.
Renewal / Registration Charges :-
Renewal / Registration Fee (Non Refundable, Non Interest Bearing):- W.E.F. April 20, 2012 - Bidder ID to be active till Sept’ 30th, 2014 - Rs. 2,248/-
Customers under the earlier " One Time Registration Scheme " are advised to e-mail to coaljunction@mjunction.in on the expiry of the validity date of their registration after which their final validity will be extended to Sept’ 30th, 2014.

Q. What are the documents required for registration renewal?
A. For renewal of your registration duly filled up Bidder ID Card Form with photograph is to be deposited with Registration Fees along with an application in your company letter head mentioning your bidder ID number.

Q. I have paid one time fees, but at the time of login I am being shown " Registration expired".
A. Please send an e-mail to coaljunction@mjunction.in with Bidder ID number & Company Name requesting for validity extension.

Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) FAQs

Q. What is DSC & what are the DSC requirements for CIL e-auctions?
A. Please note that DSC means Digital Signature Certificate. The CIL's e-auction requirement is a Class III DSC-organisation. DSC can be purchased from Coaljunction as well as from other bonafide Certifying Authorities.          

Q. How can I buy DSC from Coaljunction?
A. Simple steps to be followed for acquiring DSC from Coaljunction.
Submit your DSC form and documents.
1. User has to be  registered with coaljunction before buying a digital signature certificate .

2. Registered users have to click on “ log in “ button & further have to click on “ Buy Digital Certificate Here “.
3. Registered users need to download the “DSC form – Organization” & two letter formats namely, “Application to mj “& “Authorization to Ncode “ and take print outs of them.
3. Old users who wish to purchase DSC again from Coaljunction , are required to download nothing but “ DSC Renewal Form “only.

4. Print outs of the letter formats mentioned above , have to be taken in company’s letter head.

5. Buyers have to download “ Document List “ to figure out the documents that they are required to produce before us.
5. DSC fees should be in the form of Demand Draft /Pay Order, drawn in favour of "mjunction services limited A/c Coal" payable at Kolkata
6. Send the filled up DSC form , necessary documents mentioned, fees and authorization letter to the below given mjunction address.

DSC fees will be Rs. 3750.00/- w.e.f. 1st of June, 2012. (inclusive of tax)

Q. How to register DSC in Coaljunction?
A. 1. First install your DSC in your computer.
2. Log in to www.coaljunction.in > Type in your " User Name " & " Password " > Then click on " Submit " button > Go to " Home " > Select " Register Certificate " > Then continue with the DSC registration process by following the prompted instructions in the website.
Please follow the prompts as given in our website.
3. Ultimately view your DSC status by clicking " Home " option in the main menu > Select " View Certificate " option
Request you to kindly register your DSC in Coaljunction website & then inform us for approval of the same.
Please e-mail us the scanned copy of your DSC purchasing Bill mentioning your Coaljunction Bidder ID. number for further approval from us. ( If purchased from other C.A. other than Coaljunction )

Q. How to delete my DSC which has been earlier registered & approved in Coaljunction?
A. Dear Customer,
1. First login to www.coaljunction.in with your User Name & Password.
2. Go to " Home " option in the main menu > Select " View Certificate " option;
3. Select the DSC to be deleted by ticking in the checkbox option & click on " Deletion Request " for successfully submitting your DSC deletion request via online process.
4. Ultimately view your DSC status by clicking " Home " option in the main menu > Select " View Certificate " option

Please note the following important points wrt online DSC deletion request :
a) A DSC deletion request registered once cannot be deleted & will be considered as final.
b) Please be sure before applying for online DSC deletion request.
c) All DSC deletion requests registered till 2-30PM on a given date will be processed on that date & balance DSC deletion requests will be processed on the next working day.
d) You can check the status - ie whether your online DSC deletion is processed or not - through this page.
e) Post checking your DSC being deleted in case you wish to buy from other sources you are requested to register your fresh DSC in Coaljunction website & e-mail us at coaljunction@mjunction.in the scanned copy of the DSC purchase bill, mentioning your Bidder ID No. for approval.
