161 tons of steam coal exports via Chennai Port in Jan

In a surprise development, a volume of 161 tons of steam coal was exported through Chennai Port in January 2016, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

In January 2016, the material went to Madagascar at Rs 6,640 per ton.

In June, the consignments were sent to Oman in a band of Rs 30,012 – Rs 31,121 per ton.
