ACC Limited posts 6.13% increase in 2014 net profit

February 5: ACC Limited, a major cement manufacturer in India, reported a 6.13% growth in net profit (consolidated) for 2014 to Rs 1,161.82 crore against Rs 1,094.67 crore reported for 2013, the company said in a statement.

For the year 2014, the company’s net sales stood at Rs 11,480.31 crore against Rs 10,889.08 crore reported for the previous year, whereas sales volume stood at 24.21 million tons (mt), up 1.17% from 23.93 mt recorded in the same quarter of 2013-14.

For the final quarter (October-December), the company posted a net profit of Rs 326.62 crore, up 18.32% from Rs 275.71 crore in the same quarter of 2013.

During the final quarter of 2014, the company’s total sales turnover increased nearly 3% to Rs 2,762.31 crore compared to Rs 2,687.29 crore reported in the same period of the last financial year.
