AMW expands network in north India

February 27: AMW Motors Ltd. (AMW), India's third largest heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its dealership network in the north Indian market.

AMW has appointed a new dealer for Jalandhar, Amritsar, Kapurthala and TaranTaran markets and has also set up an eight-day workshop in Jalandhar, with the latest equipment and tools, adequate inventory of spare parts and qualified and trained manpower, the company said in a statement.

The new facility will provide customers a full range of services, including vehicle sales, financing assistance, maintenance and repair, spare parts support and 24X7 assistance through AMW's call centre, it added.
