December 22: Imports of steam coal by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO) during November 2014 stood at 120,000 tons against 133,000 tons reported for October, down 9.77% month-on-month, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The utility showed 48% materialisation for the month since its import target for November 2014 was 250,000 tons.
The total receipts of imported coal by APGENCO during the first eight months of 2014-15 stood at 1,330,000 tons, up 26.79% compared to 1,049,000 tons received during the corresponding period of 2013-14, the data revealed.
