November 30: Imports of steam coal by Adani Power Limited for its plants at Tirora and Mundra stood at 11.64 million tons (mt) during the first seven months (April-October) of 2015-16, up 17.69% compared to 9.89 mt imported during the same period of 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Of the total, imports at the Tirora plant stood at 1.67 mt against the target of 1.46 mt and that at the Mundra plant stood at 9.98 mt against the target of 7.88 mt.
In October 2015, the total imports by the two plants stood at 1.69 mt (Tirora- 112,000 tons and Mundra 1.59 mt) against the target of 1.33 mt.
