February 25: Ambuja Cements Limited can resume limestone mining in Himachal Pradesh after the High Court of Himachal Pradesh granted a stay on an order issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF), the company said in a filing to the BSE on February 25.
Earlier, pursuant to a notice received from the MoEF on February 12, 2014, mining operations at the company’s Himachal Pradesh plants has been kept in abeyance.
