May 7: Steam coal imports via Pipavav Port fell 11.85% to 141,925 tons in April 2015 against a volume of 161,015 tons imported in the month of March, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In April, 116,570 tons came from South Africa at a price range of Rs 4,639- Rs 4,842 ($74-$77) per ton while details of balance 25,355 tons were not available.
In March, 37,500 tons came from South Africa at a price range of Rs 3,359-Rs 3,582($53-$57) per ton while details of the balance 123,515 tons were not available.
