April 22: The spot price of low grades of Indonesian coal softened further on April 21, but Australian prices spurted on reports of supply chain constraints following severe storm in Hunter Valley region, market sources said.
South African prices remained largely unchanged amidst indications that some buyers are looking at off-spec material in view of continued firm trend in higher grades of Indonesian coal price, they said.
