November 18: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Ltd (CMPDI) has invited bids from academic or research institutes and/or consultancy firms in India or abroad for providing consultancy services for a “Study on Underground Coal Mining in Coal India Ltd”.
The study would cover the problems, potential, technology, modernisation, production and safety aspects.
Earlier, CMPDI had floated a similar tender for study of 90 UG mines in India this year.
