Coal Controller gets additional charge

November 12: The government, exercising the powers vested in it through the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Ordinance, 2014, has appointed Amrita Acharya, Coal Controller, under the Ministry of Coal (MoC) as the Commissioner of Payments with immediate effect, informed an official release.

He will discharge his new duties in addition to his charge as the coal controller.
