Coal handling at Ennore Port falls 0.92% in Jan m-o-m

February 14: Coal handling at Ennore Port stood at 2,152,000 tons during the month of January 2014, down 0.92% from 2,172,000 tons handled during December 2013, according to data compiled by the Indian Ports Association (IPA).

During January 2013, coal handled at the port stood at 1,805,000 tons.

During the first 10 months of the current financial year of 2013-14, total coal handled by the port stood at 18,547,000 tons whereas the figure stood at 11,961,232 tons during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
