Coal handling at Magdalla Port falls 31.03% in Dec m-o-m

January 31: Coal handling at Magdalla Port during December stood at 369,000 tons, down 31.03% from 535,000 tons handled during November, a senior port official told ICMW.

During December 2012, coal handling at the port stood at 409,000 tons.

During the first nine months (April-December) of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 3,379,576 tons compared to 3,414,274 tons in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
