Coal handling at Magdalla port falls 32.45% in Nov m-o-m

December 26: Handling of coal at Magdalla port during the month of November stood at 535,000 tons during the month of November 2013, down 32.45% from 792,000 tons handled during October, a senior port official told ICMW on December 26.

During November 2012, coal handling at the port stood at 454,000 tons.

During the first eight months (April-November) of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 3,010,576 tons compared to 3,005,274 tons in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
