Coal handling at Mumbai Port falls 34.99% in Dec m-o-m

January 30: Coal handling at Mumbai Port during December stood at 327,000 tons, down 34.99% from 503,000 tons handled in November, a senior official of the port told ICMW.

During December 2012, total coal handled at the port stood at 262,000 tons.

During the first nine months (April-December) of the current financial year of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 3,107,797 tons against 3,171,775 tons recorded during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
