Coking coal imports via Chennai rise manifold in Sept

October 25: Coking coal imports via Chennai port rose manifold to 122 tons in September 2013 against 35 tons recorded in August 2013, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In August 2013, the entire quantity arrived from the United Kingdom at a price band of Rs 30,011 – Rs 31,265 ($461-$484).

However, there were no imports of this commodity via Chennai port in July, 2013.
