Coking coal imports via Mormugao at 355,184 tons in August

September 23: Imports of coking coal via Mormugao port stood at 355,184 tons during the month of August while in the previous month, the figure stood at nil, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During August 2012, coking coal imports via the port stood at 641,544 tons.

During August 2013, 288,372 tons came from Australia at a price range of Rs 8,359-Rs 10,696 ($128-$174) per ton while 66,811 tons came from the US at a price of Rs 12,671 ($194) per ton.
