September 3: Washery grade coking coal (W3 and W4) offered on the e-auction platform conducted by coaljunction for Coal India Ltd (CIL) subsidiaries during August 2014 met with fair demand as out of 95,250 tons offered, 78,860 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,231/ton.
In fact, washery grade coking coal offered on this e-auction platform during July 2014 also met with good demand as out of 1,679,390 tons offered, 1,550,827 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,223/ton.
These grades offered on the e-auction platform by coaljunction for CIL subsidiaries during June also met with good demand as out of 220,400 tons offered, 185,900 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,104/ton.
