March 31: Dalmia Cement Limited, a subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, started trial production at its new cement plant at Belgaum, Karnataka, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
The company statement said that the company’s new cement plant with a capacity of 2.5 million tons (mt) at Belgaum, Karnataka commissioned on March 23, 2015.
“With the commissioning of the 2.5 mt Belgaum plant, the total installed cement capacity of Dalmia Bharat Group would be 24 mt, the company statement said.
