In December 2015, steam coal imports via Karaikal Port stood at 101,685 tons, down 26.22 % from 137,830 tons reported in November, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Total imports of steam coal through the port during the first nine months (April-December) of 2015-16 stood at 714,229 tons. Details of steam coal imports through the port during the corresponding period of 2014-15 are not available with ICMW.
