January 7: G10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during December saw strong demand as out of the entire offered quantity of 225,000 tons, 220,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,541 per ton.
G10 grade coal offered during November also saw strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 278,410 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,503 per ton.
In fact, in October, G10 offering saw similar demand as the entire offered quantity of 32,450 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,828 per ton.
