FOB Richards Bay Coal swaps fall continues

API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for delivery 4Q' 2015 declined week over week and month over month.

The 4Q swap was down US$ 1.57 (2.95%) month on month to US$ 51.66 per Mt according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released on 18 September 2015.

API4 FOB Richards Bay coal for (average) 1Q 2016 delivery swap also declines month over month and week over week.

According to this past week’s SGX data, the average Q1 swap declined $ 1.70 (3.21%) per MT Month over month and US$ 0.40 per MT week over week during 14 - 18 September 2015.

FOB Richards Bay coal swap 1Q’ 2016 delivery closed at US$ 51.20 per MT on 18 September 2015, the data from SGX shows.

2Q' 2016 delivery swap was also followed trend of 4Q’15 and 1Q’16. The swap declines an average of US$ 1.92 (3.65%) month over month to US$ 50.73 on 18 September 2015 compared to US$ 52.65 closed on 18 August 2015. FOB Richards Bay coal swap, as per SGX's data, 4Q’15, 1Q and 2Q’16 delivery swaps declined week over week and month on month.

SGX Asia Clear OTC FOB Richards Bay coal 2Q' 2016 delivery swap was closed US$ 0.93 (1.80%) per MT lower compared to average 4Q' 2015 delivery price of US$ 51.66 per MT on 18 September 2015. While, the coal swap for 1Q' 16 delivery, closed average US cents 47 (0.92%) per MT higher than 2Q' 2016 delivery price for the same reported period.

The API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for 4Q' 2015 delivery has achieved a highest price of average US$ 52.11 / MT on 16 September 2015 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 51.66 / MT) on 18 September 2015.
