Imports of met coke via Krishnapatnam Port were up a sharp 69.89% at 121,044 tons in fiscal 2015-16 against 71,249 tons reported in 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Imports of the material via this port were up 7.13% at 15,203 tons in March 2016 against a volume of 14,191 tons imported in February 2016.

In March, out of the entire quantity of 15,203 tons, 9,898 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 8,642 -Rs 8,705 ($127-$129) per ton while details of th 5,305 tons were not available.
In February, the entire quantity of 14,191 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 6,304 -Rs 8,636 ($91-$126) per ton.
