February 24: Fair demand was witnessed in January 2015 for G10 grade (GCV 4,301 to 4,600 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through the MSTC platform as out of an offered quantity of 320,000 tons, 305,660 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,856 per ton.
However, moderate demand was witnessed in December 2014 for this grade offered for allotment as out of an offered quantity of 400,000 tons, 321,810 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,805 per ton.
But, very good demand was witnessed for G10 grade in November 2014 as out of an offered quantity of 55,000 tons, 50,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,974 per ton.
