February 4: G4 grade coal (GCV range of 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in January 2014 met with fair demand as out of the entire offered quantity of 129,680 tons, 123,982 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,823/ton.
In fact, this grade offered for allotment in January 2014 also met with fair demand as out of the entire offered quantity of 48,500 tons, 47,663 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 7,318/ton.
This grade offered for allotment in November 2014 met with strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 11,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 5,849/ton.
