November 23: Fair demand was witnessed for G6 grade (GCV 5,501 to 5,800 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment by CIL in the month of October 2015 via the e-auctions conducted on the MSTC platform as out of the entire offered quantity of 75,100 tons, 39,710 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,968 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed for G6 grade offered for allotment by CIL in the month of September 2015 via the e-auctions conducted on MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 339,500 tons, 95,250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,748 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed for G6 grade offered for allotment by CIL in the month of August 2015 via the e-auctions conducted on the MSTC platform as out of the entire offered quantity of 238,770 tons, 196,056 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,477 per ton.
