December 8: After a gap of one month, Coal India Ltd (CIL) subsidiaries offered a total of 6,500,000 tons of coal in November 2015 for sale through forward e-auction on coaljunction, out of which the allotted quantity was 3,924,000 tons, a substantial 60.36%, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The total forward offering during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16 stood at 8,381,000 tons, resulting in a massive 600.05% rise over 1,197,200 tons offered in the same period during 2014-15.
Similarly, the total allocation during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16 stood at 3,993,440 tons, resulting in a huge spurt of 1,414.10% over 263,750 tons offered in the same period during 2014-15.
