Fall in coaljunction January spot e-auction offering

A fall in the offered and allotted quantities of coal by Coal India Ltd (CIL) subsidiaries was seen on coaljunction in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

 

The total offering during the month declined 48.16% to 1,567,820 tons compared to the December offering of 3,024,600 tons while the allotted quantity was down by 56.22% to 824,956 tons in January 2016 from 1,884,280 tons in December 2015.
