May 6: There was very poor demand for coal and coke fines in the e-auction in April 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 1,50,700 tons by SECL of CIL, only 3,250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,949 per ton on the e-auction platform of coaljunction.
There was no coal and coke fine offering in March 2015 on coaljunction.
However, in February 2015, very poor demand was witnessed for 126,550 tons of coal and coke fines offered by SECL of CIL on this platform as only 2,500 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,240 per ton.
