November 19: A firm trend continued in international coal prices on November 18 amidst indications of scattered buying interest from Indian companies even as Chinese interest continued to be lacklustre, market sources said.
Recent soft trend in freight rates, after a brief firmness till the beginning of the month, also encouraged buyers, they said.
