August 28: There was a very strong demand for G-1 grade (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by NEC for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in July 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 12,000 tons got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 6,469 per ton.
