August 28: There was moderate demand for G-2 grade (GCV of 6,701-7,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by NEC for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in July 2014, as 5,500 tons got allotted out of the offered quantity of 13,750 tons during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 4,870 per ton.
