New UserG-9 grade sees strong demand in Sept e-auction

October 31: Strong demand was seen for G-9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered through the MSTC platform in September 2014 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 34,475 tons offered, 34,470 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,649 per ton.
On the other hand, there was moderate demand for this grade offered in August 2014 by CCL, as out of the 500 tons offered, 300 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,572 per ton.
Strong demand was, however, seen in the case of this grade in July 2014, as out of the 32,500 tons offered, 32,480 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,007 per ton.
