There was no demand for G10 grade coal (GCV range of 4,301 - 4,600 Kcal/kg) on coaljunction in January 2016, as there were no bids for the 20,000 tons offered by CCL, according to data available with ICMW.
However, strong demand was witnessed for G10 grade coal offered by SECL, WCL and CCL for allocation through coaljunction in December 2015, as out of the entire offering of 375,000 tons, 357,840 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,576 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of strong demand was witnessed for G10 grade coal offered by SECL and CCL for allocation through coaljunction in November 2015, as out of the entire offering of 165,000 tons, 150,200 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,942 per ton.
