November 5: Very strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) in October 2014 on coaljunction’s e-auction platform as the entire offered quantity of 75,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,583/ton.
Similar strong demand was witnessed for this grade in September 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 95,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,383/ton.
Similarly, in August 2014, the entire offered quantity of 25,000 tons of this grade got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,942/ton.
