October 10: Very strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) in September 2014 on coaljunction’s e-auction platform as the entire offered quantity of 95,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,383/ton.
Strong demand was also witnessed for G11 grade coal in August 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 25,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,942/ton.
Similar strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade during July since out of the 369,000 tons offered, 368,990 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,285/ton.
