August 6: Very strong demand was witnessed for G12 grade coal (GCV range 3,701 and 4,000 Kcal/kg) during July as the entire offered quantity of 315,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,220/ton.
